Privacy Policy

GetCourses (courses.getmaterials.in) is part of GetMaterials. This policy covers data processed for the courses product, in addition to practices on getmaterials.in.

Account: name, email, and profile details from your GetMaterials account.

Learning: enrollments, lesson progress, completion status, and certificate issuance timestamps.

Payments: order and payment status for paid courses. Card/UPI details are handled by Razorpay — we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Teacher uploads: course metadata, thumbnails, and video objects stored in our cloud storage for delivery.

Technical: basic logs (IP, device/browser signals) used for security and reliability.

We use data to provide courses and playback, process enrollments and payments, issue certificates where enabled, support teachers, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

We share data with processors needed to run the service — for example MongoDB Atlas (database), Amazon Web Services / CDN (media), and Razorpay (payments). They process data under their own terms and security controls. We may disclose information if required by law.

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences on GetCourses. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the courses app.

Account and enrollment records are kept while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. Deleted courses remove related media where possible; backup copies may persist for a limited period.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting getmaterials.in@gmail.com. You can also manage account settings on GetMaterials where available.
